Acoustic Infrastructure

Acoustic Infrastructure is a structural layer of Station A01. It defines the continuous audio environment of the facility. Sound is treated as infrastructure — comparable to power systems, ventilation and lighting — and accompanies all observation of the station.

Audio as Infrastructure

Sound inside Station A01 is not decorative background music.
It is part of the operational environment, shaping perception, rhythm and continuity.
Like machine hum or airflow, it stabilizes long-term observation.

Sources of Sound

The acoustic layer combines generated music and physical system sound.
Music is generated by Jandroide as part of the station’s internal systems.
Mechanical sound originates from real processes — servers, cooling systems, fabrication units and other active infrastructure.

Continuous Layer

The acoustic layer remains active across all operational states.
Sound adapts to the current activity level of the station.
Silence is used intentionally and rarely.

Acoustic States

Different operational phases produce different acoustic structures.
Active engineering phases may introduce denser tonal layers and increased mechanical activity.
Low-activity periods reduce complexity and return to minimal environmental sound.

Archive

Selected acoustic states are recorded and published externally.
The archive reflects the evolving sound environment of the station.
